Five weeks from today, I'll be on the road with Nicolas in the "Mickey Mobile" and heading to Florida! Of course, that will be after spending a few days in North Carolina and in Myrtle Beach.
No, I'm not excited at all (she says while on the phone with Disney reservations to check on some new rates released today)
Taken last night as I was organizing my cabinets and trying to deal with the plethora of cups we have here. There are doubles (and triples) of some of these cups. For right now, we have mugs from the All-Star Music Resort (1997), Dixie Landings (1999), Contemporary (2001), Polynesian (2003) and then some travel cups/mugs that were purchase from one of the Disney stores on property. The other two kids cups are from EPCOT in 2001 (Nicolas ended up with 3 from that trip from 3 different meals at EPCOT) and then the other cup is from our November 2007 trip. That one has Captain Hook and Tinkerbell on it. Each child got a cup and then a light-up Capt. Hook and Tinkerbell that attached to the straw. These were pretty expensive (but of course it was a Disney meal so we weren't too shocked) and of course by the time we returned home we only had the 3 cups and one of the Capt. Hook lights. In another 6 weeks or so, we'll probably have at least one more mug (or 2) from another Disney Resort. Right now it's looking like Pop Century unless Disney releases some great AP rates for other resorts and then we may try another moderate like Caribbean Beach.
I just love that he likes to wear his new sunglasses on his head these days. I also love the questions he asks me sometimes. Last week it was about monsters and if they live under the bed and if not where until I told him they don't exist. As we were stuck in our vehicle on the bridge last week he told me it would be okay because if we fell off a big whale would scoop us the truck and put it back on the bridge. This morning he asked me if giants live in the clouds and if not where? I told him they really don't exist either. I can't imagine what kinds of questions and other things he's going to come up with when he's FOUR. I though Nicolas had a great imagination but I think Noah's will be right up there too. I also can't believe that four for him is only about 2 months away. Where does the time go?
Another thing I can't believe is that it is just supposed to barely get out of the 50s today and I had all the kids and myself dressed in short sleeves and light jackets. Where the HECK is Spring already?
Rachel loves them too!! She says they are hilarious...that and Junie B Jones. She will serously sit and read a... read more
