So nice to see the gas prices staying below $4 and even dropping now. We have a big drive coming up in just a few weeks and it would be nice to save a bit on gas.
Taught Nicolas how to play this tonight and beat him by only 10 points. Just keeping the math skills in line for the summer!
Spending a few hours in the pool and getting no nap will do this to a 4-year-old. Oh, and I'm sure jumping into the deep end without his swim vest and having to swim to the side on his own might have made him a bit tired. Before you think we are terrible parents, we DID see him jump and ran over to get him but he was already swimming on his own and probably didn't even realize he didn't have his vest on him until his panic-stricken mommy told him so...and then jumped in to grab him when she thought he looked like he was tiring. If it wasn't for the 8-feet of water he was in, I probably would not have been as quick to jump in to get him, especially since at the same time Frank was already in the water and swimming up next to him too.
Nicolas' typical camp day. It varies a little bit each day, but basically every day is a morning activity, swim lessons, snack, arts and crafts, an afternoon activity (today's is tennis), lunch, movie and free swim. You would think he'd come home exhausted, but he only seems to come home hungry.
I'm trying my best to refrain until I'm on vacation though. However, if I finish the book I'm reading right now, I'll have no choice but to start this one.
Yes, the fun of my morning! Thankfully I was only in there for about 1/2 hour, stuck between the 1st and 2nd floors, and the maintenance people here did open the doors for me to get some air before the elevator repairman arrived and got it moving again.
Four little people play a Plug-N-Play Sega game system. It's far from Wii quality, but after they ran around ragged shooting each other with Nerf darts for about 20 minutes, I decided it was time for some DOWN time!

Noelle, Daddy and Noah jumping into the pool together!
The kids had daddy jumping into the pool over and over again. I'm not sure who was more tired after all of that! Probably Noelle who did a lot of swimming practice yesterday, especially after each jump and having to turn around and swim back to the side in water above her head!
Last week Noah was very adverse to riding his new bike. He wanted to ride his tricycle, insisting the bike was too big for him. He just wants to be little forever!
Today Noelle decided to teach him and before you knew it he was riding up and down the sidewalk with her and loving it! Now he's ready to get rid of the tricycle!
